timsabre
This looks like a viable solution to the problem of sourcing floppy disks for legacy Zero 88 Frog desks:Link I can't find a price but it looks expensive and seems to be aimed at military/industrial so probably is... alistermorton
It appears to be simply aimed at "industry" - military is just one application they mention, so it may be affordable.
PaulDF
I fitted an emulator a while back, thread here:http://www.blue-room.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=50532I haven't had any issues with it. The units I bought were these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/I.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XE100+floppy.TRS0&_nkw=E100+floppy&_sacat=0 I bought 4 of them, one for a bullfrog, one for a fat frog and two for using with PCs to do the fixtures etc. At the time I managed to get a couple of USB to FDD interfaces, so I ended up with USB to FDD back to USB. This means I can access the stick using just the A drive in "my computer", using the emulator to select the drive number and without any other software. I needed to use the software to setup the partitions on the USB sticks in the first instance though.
dbuckley
A lot of folks with old musical instruments with 3.5" disks (like samplers) are fitting those USB floppy emulators, and have been doing so for some years now, with very favorable results.
