medina
Hi, we've just purchased a HME radio comms system which is connected into our existing Tecpro set up. We've found that the volume of the HME users is really low in the ears of those on the wired Tecpro comms. Is there a way of somehow boosting the signal into the wired system? Maybe something in between the 2 units? Thanks
boatman
If there is a four-wire interface between the two systems then it would be fairly easy to add an amplifier in one direction and attenuate in the opposite direction. You could probably adapt a BlueCom beltpack to do this. However if it's only a two-wire interface you'll have to delve inside the HME system to find some gain control. jonathanhill
The DX200 has a pot on the right hand side of the base station that controls the level of the wireless group in the wired group.
medina
Volume pot is at full and still quiet
jonathanhill
Have you tried changing the RTS/ClearCom switch over?
DrSof
Have you solved this yet? If not, what Tecpro are you using. I could run up a similar setup here and let you know how I get on.
