Emmien
I'm trying to use a Jester 24/48 on a 4:3 PC screen, but the Jester will only output 16:9. I can't then see the full screen, and the screen has an annoying message about the resolution that comes and goes. The normal screen that is used is being used for MagicQ Visualiser, and it does have both DVI and HDMI in. I thought about an adapter but the screen only takes DVI-D on the DVI connector, not DVI-I, so it would require an expensive active converter. I looked through the settings and couldn't find an aspect ratio one, but I would have thought that there would be.
0mgatr33
Does your screen not have an auto set-up option in the menu? When mine goes wonky that usually fixes it after a bit of flickering about. Tom
Emmien
It does, but it only allows the image to be moved left to right, up and down, and not to be scaled.
the kid
HAve you checked page 34 of the manual ? I always used our jester in 4:
TomHoward
You say DVI and HDMI in, the output on the Jester is only VGA right, and it's a fairly dated resolution, about 640 x 480, are you sure ratio is the problem?
Shez
My jester output is very low res 4:3. I'd be amazed if you could get native 16:9 out of it!
