Nick LX
I've used the pyroflash range of Le Maitre's which mounts on the pods however never used their waterfalls. How are these rigged? I've read something about red caps being used - what are these for? Also, what's the best way to rig them? Cheers
alistermorton
You suspend them from the rig by the holes in the "bottom" (which actually becomes the top), and fix the igniter (electric match) in place in the choke with aluminum tape. As the web site explains, caps for the igniter are no longer supplied unless requested. Brian
The red caps used to be used to hold the igniter in place. However, experience tells that you don't want molten plastic dropping from height hence most people now use foil tape.
alistermorton
Yerss - the idea of molten plastic raining down from above is never going to be a good idea.
