bigclive
I was talking to a local power lineman yesterday and he mentioned that the IPAF requirement to re-certify every five years is possibly changing from an expiry date to a recommended renewal date. This appears to be dealing with the fact that putting such a short expiry date on these cards is primarily intended to drive revenue for the "training" companies. Since I first had to have an IPAF card I've had to do the "course" several times and if anything has changed it's been a backing-off from some of their more ill conceived blanket rules. Other than that nothing major has changed. So is this actually happening?
