Ken Coker
Comrades Someone has stolen our Magnum 2500 hazer remote (!!). Is there any viable, cheaper alternative to buying the Martin replacement? I don't mind buying one, I'm just interested to see if anyone had any clever "alternative" solutions.(Yes, the obvious "alternative" solution is to buy a Unique 2.1 and I'm doing that too....) Thanks KC
gyro_gearloose
A quick look through the manual suggests that a DMX to 0-10v converter should work, assuming you want DMX and not manual control of your hazer... Edit: Ignore me. I was looking at the wrong machine, The 2500 doesn't have 0-10v control, but does have DMX already. You could try using one of those 6 channel DMX controllers as a remote. Don;t know how useful that would be.
dmxlights
The Magnum 2500 hazer does not have DMX as default. Its an add on by a DMX card which you have to buy. on less you already have the card. From the way the OP is asking to me sound that his/her Magnum 2500 hazer does not have the DMX card
