warrenstuart
I'm afraid I'm not really getting anywhere with this :-(I've tried the suggestions above and spoken to 3 dealers who have said they'll get me a price from Dynacord but not heard anything back. Everyone I've spoken to has said "I don't think we've ever had to replace one of those before" so I guess that doesn't bode well !!The nearest thing is an ebay seller from Germany who seems to specialise in Alps faders has asked me to send him a comprehensive diagram (phsical sizes etc) and photos of the fader and he'll see what he can do so I will try that if nothing else comes up in the next few days. Are there any repairers on here who have a scrap 600/1000/MP7 that this part could be salvaged from in exchange for beer tokens? Just a thought. Any other suggestions welcome before I remove the thing from the PCB in order to send some details off to the German ebayer?? Warren. DrV
What is the travel length and resistance? Can you post a pic of it?
5catfish
Hi warren.... which dealers did you try?
warrenstuart
The travel length I think is 40mm but will confirm, resistance I can possibly get from the manual. Ultimately I need to remove it from the PCB to get the full facts. I've tried 10 out of 10, TR Music, HW Audio and a guy on ebay who advertises a repair service. Warren. DrV
That rules out the ones I had in mind then - they are 20mm 50k out of a Peavey EQ. Sorry. BTW yours will likely be 45 rather than 40 as this is a standard length.Dave
warrenstuart
Just to confirm the travel length is 30mm not 40mm, my mistake. Hopefully sorted now by an ebay seller who has said he will order them for me so fingers crossed... Warren.
