Anyone now how to do this?? Strand question

Hi

 

I am a fairly confident strand operater but there is something that is bothering me and has done for some time. I quite often need to change a number of sub flash keys to macros but at the moment I am doing this one at time by roller balling down and wheeling to mac in the sub menu this is a little tedious when you have a 550 and 54 sub to do. I am pretty sure that I have seen some one change groups of keys in one go. Am I imagining this or can it be done.

I don't think there's a way to do this. But at least you only have to do it once, when you're setting the desk up for a production .....

If you use the Macros from show to show, I guess you could save it into your "setup disk". Save a bit of time.

Good point Bryson....was sure there was a reason why I havn't done that but cant for the life of me think why.......was just convinced that I saw a strand guy do it once.

The command line for example

 

 

SUB 1 MACRO 1 *

 

when entered in the SUB screen works, but I don't know of a way to do them all at once sequentially, so you'd still have to bang in that command line or a variation on it 54 times
