Paula
Hi There.I've got a Robe 1200 at that lamps on and works fine for 20 mins or so, but then the lamp dims and it keeps getting dimmer and dimmer over time. A hard reset and re-strike sorts it out for a bit. Is that a ballast issue or a PCB issue?I'd love to hear your thoughtsCheers.Paula.
niclights
Could you swap ballast with another unit?
Paula
I could. Bit of a pain. I was hoping it would be a software issue?Could you swap ballast with another unit?
timsabre
Software can't dim the actual lamp... It dims with shutters. Do you mean the lamp itself dims or the output dims? If it's the actual lamp, it must be a hardware problem and Nic's suggestion is the best way to start.
jono1
What hours has the lamp done?
Paula
It's a brand new lamp. I was thinking it was something to do with the fixtures ability to run the lamp on a low power mode.I'll change the Ballast. It goes super dim if left long enough. I didn't think that was possible for the lamp to maintain an arc so low!I'll let you know.Cheers.
