fliggygeek Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 It's been a little time since I've had an atomic on my bench but I've seen atomics using a spliced feed from the internal supply feeding the scroller. Can't recall the voltage but 24v sounds about right for the distances normally involved with them. You are correct that the power is just added on the extra pin/s in the cable, on the spliced power units they added the power feed into the link between atomic and scroller, 3 pin to 4 pin so you can still daisy chain the units on 5 pin.
