gyro_gearloose Posted August 12, 2014 Author Share Posted August 12, 2014 Heatpipes are perfect for cooling LEDs. The CPU heatsink that I've used uses several of them to dissipate the heat. Do be careful if you want to use some in an LED conversion of your own - some coolers only like being run when they sit horizontally on top of a processor. Brian Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Having just bought an optikinetics solar led and being very impressed with the output I'm now looking at my pile of 250's and 100b's and wondering about doing some experimenting with them....
