Mr Steve
Hello, I need to replace a stepper motor on an iris - the shaft is stiff, and the iris will not calibrate up. The motor just makes a whistly noise (the iris manually works fine when off the timing chain). I have not done this before so I do not know what part / tolerances I need to take in to consideration. The original motor is an EAD ZB17BBK-12 A part, which is a 1.8 degree, 12 volt, 0.46 amp motor, about 45mm deep. Does anyone know a suitable replacement? The iris is a City Theatrical iris, off an AutoYoke.
