tonyrr
Hi Everyone.I am new to the forum and have a problem with one of my mac 250's. Everything responds to commands as it should but the pan and tilt run slower than the other 3, It does get to the desired point but much slower than the rest. I have checked that it is not set to slow/precise movement. all settings seem to be the same on all lights. Can anyone throw any light on my problem.Tony
IRW
Do Mac250's have a speed channel? If so, is it set to something? Also, if I recall correctly, some Martin kit has a 'studio' mode that can cause them to move slowly!
kitlane
Are there any error codes showing? IIRC, if the pan or tilt position sensors fail the unit will default to slower movement and use 'dead reckoning' to track the position.
Young Johnstone
Macs have a pan and tilt speed setting in the menu (PTSP) which is probably set to something different to the others! Thats gonna be your issue! Grab a manual and have a look. E2A Sorry, miss read your settings mention. Do a factory reset on the units then you know for sure your settings are correct. tonyrr
Hi, thanks for your reply. I have not seen the "studio mode" or a Speed channel, apart from the fast or accurate setting, but will have a look. Do Mac250's have a speed channel? If so, is it set to something? Hi, thanks for your reply, I do have the manual and have gone through everything I think will affect the pan and tilt only. But will do a factory reset, didn't think of that one, thanks. IRW
I've just checked the manual, and 250's do have the aforementioned Studio Mode... General operation may be optimized for speed or quietness with the Studio Mode setting Found in the menu under 'PERS' / 'STUd'
