Easter5053
We are taking a load of Steel Deck up to Edinburgh, however we don't have enough and are loaning some from another theatre. The issue is that the Loaned steel deck is completely incompatible with standard steel deck and the hand rails we have. Can anyone identify this deck
top-cat
Frankly there are so many imitation steeldeck things out there that it may not even be a formal 'type'. It might have just been welded up for the sake of the job.
Seano
I don't know either. Hopefully someone will be along in a wee bit who knows better than Dave or me. :)
Easter5053
Cheers for the replies. Yeah, we even have our own fabed up deck, it's just the H that makes me think it may be a brand.

top-cat
Hawthorns tend to use the moniker "HTH" as opposed to just "H" And have a colossal stock of genuine steeldeck
Richard P-W
As I keep thinking of Rimmer in Red Dwarf (and a nod to Star Trek) it must be "Holodeck"! (fx - tumbleweed)
Chris W
I think it's 'Hanger Deck', originally manufactured by Hanger Services which became part of Stage One many years ago. As they are a Yorkshire company, this would also make sense given where you are. There was a lengthy patent court case between P.L. Parsons (original Steeldeck manufacturer) and Hanger Services in the 1980s.
