kurzweil_dude
Got a load of lights in the air in a nightclub and inevitably they're covered in beer etc (from bottles flying I assume!) Whats the best in peoples experience for cleaning them? Warm water didnt do the best. The casing isnt like say the casing on a 250, but more soft matt - like on the Chauvet Intimidator moving heads. All advice appreciated. Now looking a better locations in the club for them!
WiLL
I would try isopropyl alcohol on a lint free cloth.
Jivemaster
Beer should clean with water and whatever they use for cleaning glasses in the bar.Fog/haze fluid may well need an alcohol based cleaner.
dosxuk
Between water and isopropyl alcohol you can get 90+% of nightclub muck off fixtures. But remember, wherever you put the lights, they'll get beer on them at some point or another. Regular cleaning is the key rather than trying to stop them getting any splashes at all. Bigger problem is normally smoke fluid + dust blocking all the vents.
ceecrb1
Baby wipes are GREAT on the plastic covers and outsides of movers... also cheap, easy to find and ready to use.
