twjlighting
A club venue I work in sometimes has asked me what the difference between a philips msr575 and a GE CSR575 they have always used philips but have been quoted £32 cheaper a unit for the GE offering, they have 36 Robe 575 spots and wash's so when relamping the whole rig is a noticable saving. Surely at that price difference one would assume they are an inferior product whether colour temp or quick to blow. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of these lamps? I have only used Osram and Philips discharge bulbs. Thanks
Mr Steve
Look up the lamp specs online. Typically the colour temp of the CSR will be lower, so appear "less white", or the output will be fewer lumens per watt.

Maybe you should have done this, then you would have noticed that actually they are the same.
