paulears
New Official - new requirement. Anyone recommend a firm that will re-proof heavy velvet tabs and issue a certificate? Ours have not been done for ages, and need doing before we open.
nickb12345
All of our legs, borders, tabs etc at College need redoing. We have contacted other local theatres, and even the local fire brigade (sp?) and nobody seems to know anywhere to get it done! Its one of them silly little things that you can normally do yourself fine but you need the paperwork to go with it... which it would appear no one can produce :S Sorry I couldnt be of more help! stormster
would have thought blackout would help you, they are the only ones I know who issue certs on drapes. But only an educated guess.

GridGirl
All of our legs, borders, tabs etc at College need redoing. We have contacted other local theatres, and even the local fire brigade (sp?) and nobody seems to know anywhere to get it done! We loaned some tabs and legs to the local fire brigade for some reason or other....and they brought them back and said to us very cheerfully "We washed them for you". You would think that of all people, they would realise that the tabs were fireproofed!
