Sean.Hind Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Hello, I am looking to get Public Liability Insurance. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this and who the best company might be for Theatre and Event Technicians? Thanks, Sean.
Shez Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Have a chat with Doodsons as a starting point.
kerry davies Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 And just to repeat the "usual suspects" listing; Precision Broking;www.precisionbroking.com (companies)and www.crewcover.co.uk (individuals) Robertson-Taylor;www.robertson-taylor.co.uk Oval Insurance;www.theovalgroup.com Doodsons;www.doodsonbg.com And of course BECTU offer PLI for "freelances" whatever they may be.www.bectu.org.uk/benefits-services/pli
Gareth A Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Also try Hencilla Canworth in London. They are the company who do the PLI insurance for Equity. I now do my PI insurance and travel insurance through them, and the cost was nearly half of other leading companies. !
Junior8 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Read the policy document - not just the marketing leaflets - before buying.
