FlashPointTech
Hello, Was just wondering if you had to have a licence to own and operate compressed CO2 or nitrogen confetti canons. Is there any age restrictions? Thanks, Tim
Brian
No and No but they're not entirely hazard free.
ImagineerTom
Though as there are many different types of confetti cannon (some of which can do some serious damage if misused) I'd suggest you'd be hard pressed to argue anyone under the age of 15 would class as competent in order to comply with the broader H&S laws that require people to be so. There is no official license or specific stated cutoff though many venues will have a policy (as dictated by insurance or owner) that states that no-one under 18 can ever be classed as a "competent person" and so would need supervision.
