stagey
Our Unique 2 hazer didn't get through the insulation test on a Megger DV4 PAT machine, registering ~ 0.9 MOhm. Does anyone have experience of testing these and could advise if this result is 'normal' or indicative of a fault (and where the fault might be). niclights
Check you have isolation between the heat exchanger and case. There is an insulating pad underneath it and plastic washer inserts around the screws. It's possible one of these has failed. To test, carefully disconnect the thermocouple wires from the control panel taking note of which one goes where (press down on sprung connector to release). Disconnect power to HEM. Measure resistance between HEM and case.
Wol
Interesting topic about a PAT test for an FX machine put into the Lighting forum, rather than the "Electrics" or "FX" one? :P
