kerry davies Posted June 22, 2013 Share Posted June 22, 2013 Mike, from the experience of a mate filming out there the best place and possibly only one is Puerto Rico which has a couple of small hire companies 500 airmiles away, see Musique Express. Truthfully, though, if you don't take it with you it ain't there in Vincent and Grenadines. Or rather it might be there in one of the luxury hotel resorts but you ain't hiring it. Think rural, mostly jungle with isolated exclusive spots like Mustique which you may not even be allowed to land on. The capital is smaller than Bedworth or Pontypridd or Windsor and Eton. The power supply on the bigger islands is UK style 13A, 50 cycle, 220-240 but can be 110/60 US style on the smaller isles which is what Puerto Rico uses. My mate was running on a budget so when they needed anything his leading man just stole it from his other, Hollywood blockbuster, film set. The thought of a gig "just OFF" St Vincent is intriguing, can you say more about it? ETA; you could try to find out who produced the COTT Music Awards in Trinidad and Tobago.
