dave1foot
Hi All, could anyone point me at the SPL spec for a Wharfedale Pro EVP X15P POWERED speaker? Their bumf isn't forthcoming on the subject. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance I have a PDF user manual if that helps. Message me with your email and I'll send it KC
Simon Lewis
It's not given on their spec sheet. The passive version is stated as being 129dB peak. If you take the powered version's amp power (cited as 400W continuous) and the stated driver sensitivity from the unpowered version (98dB@1W@1m) that would give 124dB - which is about right. Of course, power compression isn't taken into account....
Ken Coker
Of course, power compression isn't taken into account.... Of course......I'd also add that if one uses them for a R&B band from a north Derbyshire village, the crossovers seem to melt with alarming regularity......
