Guest lightnix
Briefly: I've seen standard H/C's start to open up under a heavy load without being seriously overtightened. It can happen :(
Makr
For lights that are on booms or t-bars, I've always grabbed an extra c-clamp on the bar and put the the safety chain around that, so I the one c-clamp fails theres another ready to take the fall. peternewman
I think Hollywood is trying to give us a bad name. My brother was just watching "Thunderpants" and a bolt shook loose and a lantern fell and killed one of the characters. If it had a safety it wouldn't have happened. Also reminded me of the start of "The Truman Show" when Truman almost gets hit by another falling lantern. What do they have against us? <_< PN
