Bobbsy
Am I crazy or have I seen discussions in here about software suitable to use a PC as an effects unit (reverb in particular) in a live sound situation? I'm thinking of things actually designed for that rather than trying to use the monitor features of a DAW. It's not something I have any particular interest in but I've been asked the question elsewhere so thought I'd see if anyone in here knows of anything. Oh, and the request I got was for freeware if possible. Doesn't anyone pay for anything any more?
david.elsbury
I started a topic eons ago. I ended up using a bit of software called Console (www.console.jp) which uses any VST plugin you want. Not free but cheap, has a trial version as well IIRC? HTHDavid http://www.blue-room.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=20776
jmdh
More recently this was discussed here: http://www.blue-room.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=56268 Live (Lite) comes in the not free but (reasonably) cheap, with a free trial.
