Alpha Pack fuses

Can anyone help out a noise boy masquerading as a lampy?

I need to buy some fuses for our Zero88 Alphapacks and I can't find any that match the specs from the usual suspects.

Can anyone give me a CPC/RS part number for an appropriate replacement?

I did phone zero 88 but they didn't know either!

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Apologies that it doesn't sound like we could help on the phone. You should have been offered a call back from our Service Department.

If you know who you spoke to, maybe you could send me a PM.

For future record, the fuses you need are 6.3amp ceramic fuses.

Apologies for reopening an old thread, but there is some incorrect and incomplete information quoted above regarding the fuse type and size for the various Alphapack versions. Posting here as a reference for other users.

All fuses are 6.3A, ceramic HRC fast acting.

Alphapack1: 32mm (1/4" x 1.1/4") (http://zero88.com/su...achment/266/264)

Alphapack2: 5x20mm (http://zero88.com/su...tachment/84/616)

Alphapack3: 5x20mm (http://zero88.com/da...K_Rev2_0516.pdf)

1/4" x 1.1/4":

RS 247-3977 http://uk.rs-online....-fuses/2473977/

CPC FF02374 (SIBA 70-065-63 6.3A) http://cpc.farnell.c...6-3a/dp/FF02374

5x20mm:

RS 563-330 http://uk.rs-online....-fuses/0563330/

CPC FF02830 (SIBA 70-007-33/6.3A) http://cpc.farnell.c...ow-6/dp/FF02830

Note: RS 563-396 quoted above is incorrect. That is a time-delayed fuse. A fast-acting fuse is required.

Except the data sheet is wrong - it was created when Coopers bought Zero88 and tried to harmonise all the documentation. The Alphapack 1 doesn't have the space physically inside (with the layout of the PCB) for a fuseholder to take 32mm fuses - that's actually the size for Beta 1 and Beta 2 - Alphapacks all take 20mm ceramic fuses.
