No time to solder in five LEDs? Shame. Not to worry, you can let us know how you get on in your hunt for the extremely elusive (and kinda specialist) blue LED USB gooseneck lamps.

I was just on ebay looking for them there and I found the range bewildering. I just couldn't have dreamed that so many people would want blue LED USB gooseneck lamps. No seriously... ** laughs out loud ** There were none.

I take it you CAN solder?

Yeah I've trawled ebay, it's completely bare.

Yep I can solder, but I hate it, I'd rather do housework! 5 LEDs per light and I want 4, so yes it's only 20 LEDs but it's still 20 more LEDs than I wish to solder.

** laughs out loud **, then the Rolson stuff, which admittedly is not that close to your desired spec, might look more attractive after all...especially as what you are after is not to be found.

Certainly the Rolson kit is cheap(er), more versatile and no soldering needed or indeed finding the blue LEDs which fit, etc, etc, etc.
