Judge Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 I used to use an EV RE20 which seemed to be a great mic for the job. This was back when I was playing drums and also working in live sound more than I do now. Don't know if its still a good choice, though don't see why not. I preferred it to a D12.
