Shez
This one's probably easy but I'm drawing a bit of a blank. (Graduations below are mm for scale). The manual suggests it's a mini-VGA connector, but the pictures I've found online of those don't tally. It's not mini-DP or mini-DVI either. Any advance on those? http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd434/Sheriton/Output.jpg

madorangepanda
What tablet is it? Lots of manufacturers use proprietary connectors and only their own adapter cable will work.
Shez
It's a Viewsonic VPAD10 tablet. I was beginning to wonder if it might be proprietary to them...
David Lee
According to its spec, it is mini VGA. Oh joy another adaptor :( WIKI
Shez
It doesn't look like it's mini VGA - that has fourteen contacts, offset, whereas this has only 12, lined up equally on each side of the central tongue.

Shez
Very similar looking but alas not. Bring back the days of 9 & 25 pin serial ports when every port looked completely different to every other port and they were all so easy to identify! c.cam108
Definitely not thunderbolt - it's almost square. Is it Mini HDMI? http://www.dslrphoto.com/dslr/latest-mini-hdmi-connector-for-compact-and-dslr-cameras,759.html
grizzly
It's definitely not Apple Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt, nor is it an Apple miniVGA. However, it is a miniVGA connector. It's just that Apple, HP and ASUS have all made different connectors with the same name (!).ViewSonic sell the adaptor on their online shop: http://shop.viewsonic.com/tablets/tablet-accessories/cb-00009947.html ETA: Ah, I see you already posted that link further up thread. Is there anything stopping you from purchasing from an American store?
