ian_gibbs
Evening all, I think I know the answer to this question but just want to check I'm not missing something. Is it possible to input an analogue signal into a D12 and have the amp also output an AES/EBU signal as well for daisy chaining into another amp. I think the answer is no, and couldn't find any information on the D&B website but was hoping someone could prove me wrong. I've only ever used D12's in all analogue or all digital inputs on a job. Simon Lewis
Ian, If you look at page 4 of this document, it suggests that the AES input is connected to the AES link output via a buffer (with a power fail bypass). It does not suggest that there is an analogue to AES convertor in the amplfier, so I think the answer is indeed "no". Simon
Aaron-Hill07
The answer is unfortunately no as you've already guessed!
ian_gibbs
Cheers guys. Just as I thought. I'd read all the literature but just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something before I went looking for another solution. Ian.
