Thomas1987
Hi all, I'm looking to either build or buy a timer for an old Kodak Carousel slide projector. It doesn't have one built in, and to be honest I don't know if it can be done, so its a bodge it job, or replace it, but thought someone here may have an idea. I think what I effectively need is a relay which will close the "move forward" circuit ever 5 seconds or so - and I'm racking my brains of something that would do it! I haven't measured the voltage of the change over but as its on a din plug currently, its not going to be 230v... so thinking something like this( http://www.maplin.co.uk/universal-timer-kit-3315) Anyone tried to do this before, any advice? pstewart
Is it an S-AV type or an Ektapro? There was a unit that plugged into the remote socket on an S-AV available that would do this - here's a replacement one on ebay. If it's an Ektapro, some of the models had the timer built in. Brian
If you just need a regularly closing contact you'd be better of with one of these.
