weedkiller
Can anyone suggest a tidy way of connecting / disconnecting the 4-core cable used to send power from the up / down / remote control box to the motor in the screen? Have looked at 16A Commando style - Too big, industrial and uglyBulgin Buccaneer - Still trying to track down something convenient Is there any kind of standard connector for these type of low current mains situations? TomHoward
We use 8-pin Bulgin connector on ours - has 4 redundant contacts but compact, cheap and rated to 240V. We used one of the standard pinouts and connected the lives to circuits 1 and 2 - so if someone did plug a breakout in to the socket it should be okay - just flash the first two circuits of lights. J Pearce
Harting/Lectriflex might also work nicely.
KevinE
The Amphenol / Hirchmann 4-way (3+PE) would be compact maybe? Available in chassis and cable versions http://media.rsdelivers.cataloguesolutions.com/LargeProductImages/R359438-14.jpg
