zachzaba Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 So it took me a while but I've switched off my old board to a computer and currently use the Freestyler/3d view combo for programming. My next step would be to have some sort of "hardware" or controller that would hook up to my computer and get me out of the box and free to use faders, knobs etc. I have seen guys use what looks like audio boards to control their shows but actually forgot what console they had. Is this a realistic choice...I imagine that any board with MIDI outputs could go thru my computer audio interface (which has a midi input) and actually control fixtures and scenes. Any ideas, I would eventually like to get a "Freestanding board" but it's going to be a while :) Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
