Artnet and ETC3 and possibly MA net all coexist happily on the network but looking for a one box backup.... to store some simple back up states... timmeh2 Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 Hi Ian Stream capture over ArtNet is relatively simple (well, if you're an expert in C++) - in fact I've already written some software that does that although doesn't actually save anything, but with a few tweaks it could do exactly what you want. I can't say the same for ETC3 and MA, even though I use them both, as the protocols are not open-source whereas Artnet is. It's something I'd be interested in coding, and sounds like a lot of fun - perhaps you could PM me with a more detailed description of what you'd like in the software?
