Burning smell from LSC ePRO Dimmers

For all we know something, with either no legs or at least four, has topped themselves across the phases. We use to have mice nest in our desks (You would be amazed at the hole they can get through.) and then get caught in the vermin traps. After a few days we all knew what had happened...nothing quite like a dead mouse for aroma, or as you say "peculiar smell".

Even better when they crawl in a fan heater to end their days.

How small of a hole are we talking here? As most desks I have handled, are useually quite nicely sealed up... http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif. I can kind of imagine that aroma...... not very pleasant one would think.

LSC are pretty much on your doorstep. Maybe it is worth a suggestion that the school look at booking a general service for their gear from them? They will locate anything iffy in next to no time.

Will put forward a few suggestions, in the meantime I still want to find out which dimmer of the 3 is creating the smell, point it out to them that this is the culprit, and have them drag it off to LSC.

get yourself 3 chickens, put 1 chicken on each dimmer and turn em on.do your show, after the show turn of any remaining dimmers and eat the chicken. The one that tastes the most chargrilled is the your faulty dimmer.

How do you come up with all these! I will most likely look like this http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif every time I think of this post http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif
