Matthew Robinson
Hi, I'm trying to load Avolites Titan Simulator on Wine from Ubuntu (v11.04). When I try to open it, it gives the error message 'invalid parameter' followed by 'There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file'. Basically, I have no idea what is wrong with it- it seems to open every other windows executable fine. Help? Cheers,Matthew Robinson
niclights
Contact Avo if you haven't already. Sorry if that seems unhelpful but I am sure it is the really the only way to get a solution or explanation in this case.
rossmck
I've never managed to get Titan to run under WINE (I did try) - works fine under the likes of VirtualBox (not very well), VMWare (brilliantly) or Parallels on Mac OS X Part of the reason may be that it's actually several applications that run at once, which Wine has issues with from memory
