ptrturner4 Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Went to install pearl 2004 simulator on my new windows 7 notebook and it came up with the stonking great big message that says that it is unfortunately not compatible with my version of windows, very disappointing firstly! , just wondering if there is any way that I can get this piece of software to work on my machine , before I downgrade back to XP any help would be appreciated to avoid a major faf!! thanks pete. tom330122 Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Hi Pete,In explorer, right click the downloaded file "Pearl2004Sim_v1" and click on "Properties"Under the compatibility tab, check the tick bod named "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" In the corresponding drop down menu ensure that "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" is selectedClick "Ok" at the bottom of the window.Hope that helps Tom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
