Jamtastic3
Hi all.I've got a Pearl with a floppy drive, but I've heard you can get floopy emulators so that USB sticks can be used instead. Has anyone got any experience of replacing old floppy drives for an emulator (even on other desks as well) and does it work? Cheers! http://www.virtualvillage.co.uk/3-5-1-44mb-floppy-disk-drive-emulator-usb-006401-077.html?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shcomp
mutley
I've just ordered one from one of my Chinese suppliers. I'll lend it to you when it comes, to try it if you like? PM me to arrange.
brainwave-generator
If you don't mind spending the money, Avo can do you a proper 'Boris Upgrade' to put a USB socket in a Pearl 2004. It's about £400 but it'll help the resale value of the desk if you choose to later upgrade.
Jamtastic3
That's cool Mutley, no need. It would be good however if you could tell me how you get on with yours and what you're using it with.
