Jivemaster Posted August 1, 2011 Share Posted August 1, 2011 If you block an exit without the permission of the licence holder and the licensing authority and the fire officer, then you will run into problems, and the worst could be a revokation of licence for the venue. With the informed and considered permission of all the above people then it's obviously OK SO1/ Ask the licence holder, putting forward some serious justification and some means of achieving the safety of your punters. 2/ Risk everything! I know a venue that "forgot" to renew the licence (with Westmnster) so they had to RE-APPLY for a licence to new standards. Rewire, replumb, new kitchen and bar new toilets and disabled access.
