Mac 250 test mode

As far as im aware, all 250's (ie 250, 250+, entour and krypton) can only be controlled over DMX and so do not have a sound-to-light function. Im pretty sure the test mode is just to demo all the features "randomly" rather than to music... If im wrong, someone will soon correct me! Hope this helps :)

Depending on condition, anywhere from £500 for broken units, upwards. This information is easily available online, Luke. You should put some effort in to do your own research before asking on here.

Asking blindly on here just makes you look lazy.

Moderation: Luke, could I ask you to please not use text-speak on the forum? It really, really, really annoys a lot of forum members - and you're much more likely to get an answer if your question is written properly. Thanks, Anna (mods)

Ebay is usually a good source of second hand equipment. Along with used lighting and some others.
Equally it can be completely rubbish.

There's been many a time where I've seen people either list, or people bid, way over the odds for kit that could have been bought at a much more sensible price is they did some shopping around hire companies and other more specialist sources. Oddly enough, it seems to be mac250s that are the most common item that suffers from the above..

In case you haven't worked it out, the moral of the story is, shop around, call hire/production companies, equipment distributors, etc.

Mac 250s and 250+ are pretty old stuff now, and were never the brightest things, as the Entours proved when they came onto the market and wiped them out. The trouble with things like Mac 250s, and the 600W wash lights is that they could have had very gentle occasional use, or beaten into the ground by the hire companies, then sold one, and now being sold by that person, fed up with them.

Very difficult to buy second hand from a stranger.
