David Liu
I am using accounting software Zipbooks. No problem with my accountant. He is a AIPB certified accountant. Actually I thought whether he accept it or not. I am glad he uses the same one for accounting. We have around 40 people in our company and we are using this soft for our windows and ubuntu based pc's.
RobbGG
Personally, I use freeAgent. It's not free (despite the name) but as someone with rudimentary knowledge of how the admin side of running a business works I have been getting on ok with it, there's some basic stock keeping and time tracking capabilities in there, the main selling point for me was the fact I could use it to do both business tax returns and my personal tax return. I've got an affiliate link that'll give you 10% off if you use it to sign up (http://fre.ag/4726w6h9) (full disclosure, I get a small kickback if you do). Not sure how well it'll integrate with your accountant but I'm sure he'll be able to find his way around without much hassle.
