Mixermend Posted May 24, 2011 Share Posted May 24, 2011 Remember that +48 volt Phantom is fed to the XLR's via a 6K8 ohm resistor to each wire of the balanced pair - so even a full short circuit on pins 2 & 3 to earth (pin 1) - will not cause any problem to the other microphone channels, or the power supply. There won't be a separate fuse for the +48 volt output from the PSU - so a visit to the Doctor is needed for this mixer! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
