Flame Torbay

Flame Torbay who are also Torbay Costume Hire had their premises set on fire on Saturday night. Many people on the forum will not have heard of them but I bet you have all seen their costumes either on stage or film. Their specialty was uniforms and they could costume whole armies for films but they would still deal with people wanting 1 costume for a weeks hire as if they were just as important.

 

I've not been in touch with them yet to see how they are but when I know I will report back

I've heard of them - they always had a good reputation ... hope they get back on track after this :/

As amdrams in Monmoutth and the Marches, Flame were always the fall-back position for costume hire. Good people with excellent stock, hope it goes well for them, a truly valuable resource.

Lional is quoted as saying the business is finished.

 

That tells you everything you need to know about their cusomer service. You send them an email 3 days after their business goes down and they get back to you in 3 hours.
