Ynot Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 PLEASE have a search fr this topic - suspended, hanging, etc. It's been covered several times and the general consensus is that most here (me included) don't believe that hanging mics is particularly efficient. Bobbsy Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 I went searching for a previous discussion on suspended mics and found THIS TOPIC started by you last November. I'm afraid the answers are still the same as before--pick up from hanging mics is never very effective. You can improve things a bit by making the wire mounts I posted about to angle the mics towards the kids--but you'll never get much sound from whispering young 'uns.
