ChazHS
Hi everyone, I'm after a pair of small (8" or 10") active boxes for not a huge amount of money (£350-£400) each, and I'd like to know if anyone has heard any of the LD Systems Stinger range? Specs look pretty good, and they are a ply design rather than plastic so they appeal to me. Any recommendations of other stuff or opinions on the stingers would be brilliant. smalljoshua
I've heard, albeit in a brief shop based demo, the Flexsys F10 and was amazed by the price and weight of them. The sound quality is good and smooth right into the high volumes. http://www.thomann.de/gb/db_technologies_flexsys_f10.htm Josh
Tivoli Phil
A friend who sometimes comes into the theatre here runs the 15" passive versions as monitors, and they are stunning. If the smaller active versions are as good you should have no worries. Phil
jason.fallon
Stunning Speakers. Have 4 passive stinger 10s and 4 passive LDV8s, both incredible for the value. Great punch off the 8s in particular but a little bit more expensive. The stinger 10s are great and serious bang for your buck.
Brian
Looking at what's inside - Eminence LF drivers, BMS HF units and B&O Ice Power amplifiers - they ought to be good.
