Thanks for pointing out the socapex pin-out numbering, not sure how I managed that one!

Also the idea for graphical representation of Dip switches is good, so:

Version 1.0.5 is now available in the android market.

Changes:

Fixes incorrect numbering on pin-out diagram for socapex connector

Adds graphical representation for DMX Address - Dip Switch

Your best bet is to use the web version. I don't know how well this will work as it uses a lot of javascript but it's worth a try.

In the next week I hope to release a new version of the web version that will bring it up to speed with the Android App (added a few calculators, global settings menu etc).

Pin Outs:

8 pin DIN perhaps?

Audio:

it would be nice if the de-regulated frequencies were listed by the others, rather than just in alphabetical order. And it would also be nice if they were spread out in the same way :)

Tone Generator: some indication of whether the tone is actually playing?

I really like the look of it though :) definitely keeping it installed

I will look into adding some new features soon, the ideas you suggest are all good so will go on the to do list.

Current project is improving the web version.

I uploaded a new version today which adds the global settings menu, so you only need to tell it to use feet not metres once instead of every time you use a calculator.

AV Tools web has just had a major upgrade, it now has the same feature set as the Android application (Except Tone gen), and has a global settings menu.

Check it out now at: http://www.av-tools.co.uk/ or download the application at http://www.av-tools.co.uk/download/

Version 1.2.0 of the app will be out shortly (just waiting for approval in the Amazon appstore):

  •
  • Added 8 Pin Din Pin-out (Analogue lighting control)
  • Added suggested De-reg radio mic frequencies
  • Improved layout of audio tools list
  • Added play indicator to Tone Gen
