the kid Posted March 18, 2010 Share Posted March 18, 2010 Just wondering while I am waiting on Mike from SCS to get back to me. Has anyone had issues with videos in SCS at all? I am playing a .AVI but randomly it decides not to play video and only audio, this has happened a few times ... quite a bit infact, but only with video, image and sound are fine. the kid Posted March 18, 2010 Author Share Posted March 18, 2010 10.6.5 However in a moment of clarity I converted my .avi to wmv and it worked/ is working. So I might have found my own fix. boswell Posted March 18, 2010 Share Posted March 18, 2010 There isn't a 10.6.5, the latest is 10.6.3 and 10.7.RC1 is beta not yet fully released.but saying that, 10.7.RC1 might be worth a try as the Windows Media Player (WMP) API has been replaced by the DirectShow DLL which should improve stability etc of video playback. see the website for more details Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
