This one-day course aims to provide students with all the basic theory regarding stage lighting along with demonstrations and hands-on exercises. By the end of the course, students should be able to understand the basic properties of light, directivity and colour, select appropriate lighting fixtures, rig, them, focus them, colour them and control them using a basic lighting desk.
