Mat
In a "showcase" performance of songs from Musicals that I did years ago they used a cut-out of MDF with "Grease" painted on the side in wavy lettering. There were two chairs behind it to 'keep it propped up' and two stage hands behind holding on for dear life when the actors were jumping all over the car to make sure it didn't fall if knocked. In my current production of Grease which is at the school I work at, we have got in touch with a local scrap dealer who has lent us half a car. To then later be scrapped. Plan in advance is the best option for the Grease Car.
