But they do differ to location- AUS uses mostly 4 circuit as far as I know, whereas here in NZ we use 5 circuit... very, VERY incompatible... daemon Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 In Australia for 4-ways I've always wired the actual loom/cable straight through, all 10 pins as well as the earth. Then you can use them with any headers/tails. On the heads and tails its then Pin 1+2 - Circuit 1 A / NPin 3+4 - Circuit 2 A / NPin 5+6 - Circuit 3 A / NPin 7+8 - Circuit 4 A / NPin 9+10 as extra earths as well as the contacts built into the connector. I believe this is the way Jands do it on their HP dimmer racks and most venues I've come across follow this wiring. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
