GRisdale
SWIRL FAN! Bubbles Lighting have them in the Midlands, don't know about the northwest though... It's basically a short black bin, with a fan mounted in the centre facing straight down into the bin. Runs on a single dimmer circuit (or just by plugging it in / switching on). Causes a blizzard of confetti in all directions and lasts for a good long while (not just a single clump drop) - makes a LOT of mess. £50 p/wk or thereabouts. Gareth. Jivemaster
Something based on a balloon net would be cheap and effective assuming you have the height for rigging tat the confetti can fall on cue and you pull or release a rope. If you are going to do it yourself you need to move quickly to get the confetti that you will need, especially as it may have to travel by post to you. May be better to get a contractor in who will just do the job, but this comes with cost attached.
